What do you use instead of wheat flour?
We use a specially blended combination of maize, starch, rice flour and soy flour.

What is the shelf life of your products?
As our breads and pizza bases are 100% preservative free we re commend that you refrigerate our products on purchase for optimum longevity, especially in the warmer months. They keep very well refrigerated for up to 3-4 days. Our bread is suitable to be enjoyed fresh in the first 48 hours, or we recommend toasting our bread golden brown anytime for amazing results.


Can you freeze your products?
Definitely. If you are not going to consume the bread within the first few of days of purchase it is best to cut, individually cling wrap and then freeze our bread. You can then toast it to perfection either from frozen or once thawed.

Is your bread dairy/nut/egg free?

Yes, there are no dairy, nut or egg products used in any of our gluten free breads or pizza bases. Our products are also vegan friendly.

Are your breads high in sugar?
No. Unlike many other gluten free breads which are high in sugar to compensate for the lack of taste, our breads are actually considerably low in sugar. There is less than 1.4gm per 100gm of carbohydrates from sugar in our breads. Our products are also low GI.

Are your products baked in a dedicated gluten free facility?

Yes, all of our products are baked in our very own dedicated gluten free bakehouse at 77 Main Street, Birregurra - at the foothills of the Otways.

Do you have a shopfront?

Yes, you can find our bakehouse at 77 main street Birregurra, a small town located 1.5 hours out of Melbourne. See our menu tab above for more information on 77 Main Street.

BEFORE YOU VISIT HOWEVER, please check Instagram, Google or Facebook for specific hours, public holiday hours and any other information in regards to trading. For as a small business, with a small family, in a small regional town we sometimes have random days where we are closed, due to staff complexities, family commitments or simply because we have gone to the beach.
